Jill holds a doctorate in medicinal chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has over 17 years of scientific and strategic marketing expertise. After moving to San Diego to pursue a postdoctoral position in neuroscience, she migrated into biotech and transitioned from the lab to business development and marketing. She has served in strategic marketing roles at numerous biotechnology companies covering a range of applications including immunoassays, biomarker discovery, diagnostics, NGS, and precision oncology. At Audacity, Jill has provided strategic branding and scientific expertise to drive commercial success for a multitude of life science, diagnostic, medical device, biopharma, and consumer genomics brands. In her free time, Jill loves aerial yoga and running — and she does quite a bit of running to keep up with her rambunctious 6 and 8-year-old boys.
Ella brings 14 years of experience and creative expertise in the life science and health industry. She studied graphic design and advertising at Parsons School of Design in New York City and earned her Master of Fine Arts from Tbilisi State University. Prior to joining Audacity, Ella held roles at FCB New York (formerly Draft FCB) and Ogilvy & Mather, both renowned global advertising networks, where she pioneered creative strategies for noteworthy biotech and pharmaceutical clients such as Roche, Novartis, Teva Oncology, Wyeth, Johnson & Johnson, and Genentech. Her presence on the team reinforces Audacity’s commitment to providing intimate, measurable, and meaningful brand experiences that deliver creative excellence to all clients.
Jeremy has more than 8 years of experience conducting market research for health and science brands. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Princeton University and has been a member of the Audacity team since its infancy. He has considerable experience managing and executing a wide array of market research projects including brand equity studies, brand tracking, and product/service naming research. He has worked with brands including Quest Diagnostics, Medtronic, Illumina, Sigma Aldrich, Luminex, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and 23andMe. In his spare time, he enjoys a good fantasy novel and blogging about films (the good, the bad, and the travesties).
Kristen earned a master of business administration from the University of San Diego and specializes in strategic branding and management. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential. Prior to working for Audacity, Kristen was the marketing director for seven years at an international project management training company where she managed a highly complex integrated multimedia marketing approach with both strategic direction and tactical implementation. Kristen has significant experience in marketing, project management, and finance. She is originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, where she was born on a very cold day in January (-50° F) along with her twin brother.
Ericka is responsible for ensuring a smooth and positive project experience for our valued clients. She takes ownership from the start and partners with her clients as the sole communicator, planner, and project manager between teams while seeing projects through to fruition. Prior to joining Audacity, Ericka was an Account Manager for the global marketing agency, Amobee, managing a top performing portfolio of industry leaders including eHarmony, Nestle, and Uber. She has developed, conceptualized, and executed comprehensive omni-channel marketing initiatives while fostering strong client relationships. She brings her well-rounded marketing experience, go-getter attitude, and passion for helping others to the Audacity team. When not at work, Ericka loves being active outdoors, traveling to new places, and of course eating great food along the way.
Brandon is a digital marketing strategy professional with more than 13 years of experience. He’s well versed in the core disciplines of digital marketing, with direct experience in web development, SEO, Paid Media and Conversion Rate Optimization. This experience has allowed Brandon to plan and execute digital marketing strategies to help clients across medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, research and even consumer goods industries maximize value from their brands and products. At Audacity, Brandon provides a close partnership with clients, alignment of stakeholders, and development and execution of strategies that drive business growth.
Cindy combines both marketing and research expertise to drive brand strategy. Through her market research experience, Cindy has accumulated a wealth of knowledge on various areas such as genomics, cancer diagnostics, etc. Her deep understanding of diverse audience segments, from researcher to patient, and key technologies allows her to strategically position life science and healthcare brands for success. She has worked with market-leading brands such as Foundation Medicine, Illumina, Quest Diagnostics, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. She graduated from Harvard University in 2014 with a BA in Social Studies and a minor in Global Health and Health Policy.
Taichi is in charge of creating and producing high-impact graphics for a variety of touchpoints including web, sales material, presentations, advertising, direct mail, corporate identity, standards manuals, and illustrations. Originally from Nagoya, Japan, he has been living in the United States since 2000. He graduated from San Diego State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
Laila has been honing her artistic skills since childhood. She refined her craft at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Laila’s background includes a full range of designing, marketing, and branding for a diverse list of companies. She created licensed costume designs for international distribution for Marvel, DC Comics, Lucasfilm Ltd, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Tokidoki, and more. She created full activewear collections and branding strategies for LeeMarc Industries, and textile design at Garreau Designs Studio for high-end labels. One of her designs graced the runway for Gottex Swim at Gran Canaria Swimwear Fashion Week in 2016. Laila’s thought process, aesthetics, illustration, and technical skills have easily translated into the life science and health industries, and she is excited to be working in a more fulfilling field. She brings to the team out-of-the-box thinking and dedicated care with every project.
Halle holds a bachelor's degree in advertising/public relations and is fulfilling her dreams of working at an agency. She assists the Audacity account team on all day-to-day tasks, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Halle is a California native but spent ten years of her life in the Midwest. Before joining Audacity, she helped to grow a tech software startup in San Diego. In her spare time, you can find Halle attending barre or spin classes, brunching with friends, or trying to break her personal 47-second record for completing a New York Times mini crossword puzzle.
Allie is an experienced media specialist in the areas of strategy, planning, and execution. She assists the Digital Marketing team in developing campaigns for clients and managing vendor relationships. Prior to joining Audacity, Allie ensured flawless execution of holistic and integrated media plans at the local agency, VITRO. Her previous client experience ranges from Toyo Tires, UC San Diego Health, and the USS Midway Museum. When she’s not working, you can find Allie enjoying the San Diego weather at the beach, checking out a new brewery, or baking treats for her friends and family (but mostly for herself).
Gillian brings several years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry leading strategic marketing efforts to evaluate brand profiles. She has worked in a variety of roles, including managing pharmaceutical product launches, healthcare analytics, business development, and brand management. Prior to joining Audacity, Gillian was a marketing manager in the women’s health space implementing high-impact messages directed to patients and healthcare providers. Gillian earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University – Fox School of Business and Management. In her free time, Gillian loves getting outdoors and enjoys long scenic bike rides.
James is a copywriter. His professional goal is to express complicated ideas simply. His unprofessional goal is to make himself laugh while doing it. He studied English and Philosophy at the University of Toronto, where he learned to transcend sleep and survive off of grilled cheese. Desperate for employable skills, he continued on to Humber College to study Advertising Copywriting. He has worked on public health campaigns for local, state, and federal government agencies, such as the Vermont Department of Health, California Department of Public Health, and the FDA. His current goal is revenge, and he won't stop until he gets it.
From former Speech-Language Pathologist to creative copywriter, words were always part of Juli’s story. Whether she worked with a newborn or centenarian, Juli focused on the heart of communication: connection. And that connection translates to words on the page as she brings her knowledge of the healthcare space to copy for brands that are making a difference in peoples’ lives. Juli holds a degree in Cognitive Science and loves to nerd out by finding creative solutions backed by psychology and linguistic principles. And when not having fun at Audacity, you’ll find her either writing her next children’s book or rock climbing around San Diego.
Kevin has 10+ years of experience in marketing and advertising on both the agency and publisher sides of the industry. In this time, he has managed multiple digital media campaigns with a range of budgets. Before joining Audacity, Kevin spent most of his career working for non-profits, like AARP, and managing paid campaigns for brands, like Wyndham Hotels and New York Life Insurance. Kevin uses his skills with Audacity to start, launch, optimize, and manage Audacity’s client’s paid media campaigns. In his free time, he enjoys running, hiking, catching up on the latest geek culture media, and chasing local electronic dance music.
Sydney brings several years of experience managing marketing and product launch efforts in the pharmaceutical and device industries. She has worked in a variety of roles, from HR to brand strategy to marketing operations, and leverages her broad experience to build and manage powerful brands from the ground up. After receiving her initial degree in integrative physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, she went on to receive her MBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of San Francisco, School of Management. She enjoys spending her free time being outdoors, lifting weights, and hanging with her French Bulldog.
Yoanne holds a doctorate in neurodevelopment and molecular biology and has several years of experience working in the life science and pharmaceutical industry. After pursuing a postdoctoral position at the Oregon Health and Science University, Yoanne traded in her lab coat to help grow early-stage biotech startups. She brings expertise from a variety of roles, including sales, customer experience, product development, content development, and marketing. When not having fun translating complex science into impactful brands, you’ll find Yoanne traveling the world or preparing for her next trip.
As an inherent creative, Meleah has been fortunate to have spent the last ten years growing in a career that does not feel like work. She earned her degree in Graphic Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles, and has since been crafting graphic and visual design solutions for a variety of industries. You can spot her work on luxury cruise lines, professional athletes, in five-star restaurants, international airports, upscale hotels, and world-renowned hospitals. Meleah thrives independently and collaboratively and is excited to be part of a team that helps turn each other’s creative wheels. She competes only with the person she was yesterday and knows that success is certain when everyone climbs together. When not over-analyzing the typography in movie credits, you can find her at the dog park.
Romain leads engineering, product, and design teams to make each project a success. With more than 15 years of coding experience and product management, Romain served in leadership and operational roles for various industries between USA and Europe. His degree from Epitech (European Institute of Technology) — an intensive, project-oriented course with a strong focus on group work, agility, and operational results — gave him an advantage for his young career. As the Chief Technology Officer for Audacity, Romain has built many award-winning websites for the health and science industry.
Nicole earned a Masters degree in organizational communication from Marquette University and specializes in creating HR operations and initiatives at growing firms. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation from the Society for Human Resources Management. Nicole is passionate about balancing the need for guardrails within an organization with the goal of making employees' jobs easier, not harder. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Nicole has lived in San Diego for 18 years. In her free time, you will find Nicole on the soccer field or volleyball courts cheering on her two daughters.
Chantalle successfully supports the Audacity account team with any and all tasks. Prior to joining Audacity, Chantalle was an Account Manager at Octagon Sports and Marketing where she worked closely with managing internal and external clients. She is originally from the East Coast with a big heart for the West Coast and is now residing in San Diego. Outside of working at Audacity, you can find her driving scenic routes, reading personal development books, or trying to find the next hot spot for the best tacos and wings. She also has a strong athletic background in tennis and modern dancing. Chantalle believes there is always a solution to any situation.
Kat has a background in Graphic Design and Advertising. She started her career as a production artist at a printing press and has evolved with the industry. Her creative experience spans from small local brands to global packaged goods in both traditional print and digital spaces.
A transplant from Astoria, Queens, Kat is enjoying her new life in California and exploring the west coast but will still root for the NY Mets.

AJ is most excited about working with companies that are driven to improve people's lives. His passion for creating visuals for life sciences stems from his passion for finding beauty in the cross sections of health, humanity, and technology. Utilizing over 10 years of experience in advertising and marketing, AJ is excited to be working in industries that are fulfilling and contribute to the greater good. When not in front of a computer, AJ can be seen hanging out at local coffee roasters or by his at-home coffee bar brewing his 5th cup for the day.
Justin holds a degree in Human Physiology from Boston University. After realizing he doesn't like humans, or physiology, Justin brought his scientific background and lab experience to the commercial side of biotechnology. Prior to joining Audacity, he worked for a proteomics and genomics focused capital equipment manufacturer, cutting his teeth in business development for the Northeast and later leading global marketing efforts for multiple product lines. Most recently, he moved to Chicago and drove the execution of regional marketing campaigns for an FDA-approved synthetic bone graft. In his free time, Justin pursues his dream of playing in the NBA.
Fatema is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, earning her BA in International Studies with a concentration in International Security, Norms and Cooperation and a minor in Business. Prior to joining Audacity, Fatema gained experience in the fields of social media and marketing through internships at various startups within the fields of biotech, healthcare and consulting. At Audacity, she works as a Market Research Associate, and is passionate about the role research has in framing brand strategy efforts. Outside of work, Fatema enjoys baking, traveling and photography.
Adrian is thrilled to be one of the newest members of the team here at Audacity. He brings an abundance of experience from his background in media and advertising for apparel, political & trade organizations. He is excited to use his knowledge in the field to continue his success in the life science & health industry. You can catch Adrian scoping the architecture and nature in Washington through the lens of his camera with his headphones on 99% of the time.
Sonya is excited to be the newest member of the Audacity accounts team. She loves building relationships and partnering with clients to ensure a positive project experience. Sonya holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media studies, as well as Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and brings industry expertise to the team with 10 years of agency work. Prior to joining Audacity, Sonya worked with major brands including UnitedHealth Group, Optum Health Care, Universal Studio Group, Warner Brothers, Hulu, Virtuoso, Ford and Honda. She is excited to bring her passion and love for marketing and advertising to the team. In her spare time, you can find Sonya traveling and exploring new places with her daughter, doing martial arts, any outdoor activity or relaxing and reading.
Miles is a cockapoo (cocker spaniel + poodle mix) who enjoys socializing with clients and lounging in the office. He received his informal education from Collins University with a double major in fuzzy companionship and cuddling. He serves as our alert system for every delivery or person that enters the office.
