Jill holds a doctorate in medicinal chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has over 18 years of scientific and strategic marketing expertise. After moving to San Diego to pursue a postdoctoral position in neuroscience, she migrated into biotech and transitioned from the lab to business development and marketing. She has served in strategic marketing roles at numerous biotechnology companies covering a range of applications including immunoassays, biomarker discovery, diagnostics, and next-generation sequencing. At Audacity, Jill has provided strategic branding and scientific expertise to drive commercial success for a multitude of life science, diagnostic, medical device, biopharma, and consumer genomics brands. In her free time, Jill loves aerial yoga and running — and she does quite a bit of running to keep up with her rambunctious 4 and 6-year-old boys.
Ella brings 14 years of experience and creative expertise in the life science and health industry. She studied graphic design and advertising at Parsons School of Design in New York City and earned her Master of Fine Arts from Tbilisi State University. Prior to joining Audacity, Ella held roles at FCB New York (formerly Draft FCB) and Ogilvy & Mather, both renowned global advertising networks, where she pioneered creative strategies for noteworthy biotech and pharmaceutical clients such as Roche, Novartis, Teva Oncology, Wyeth, Johnson & Johnson, and Genentech. Her presence on the team reinforces Audacity’s commitment to providing intimate, measurable, and meaningful brand experiences that deliver creative excellence to all clients.
Jeremy has more than 8 years of experience conducting market research for health and science brands. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Princeton University and has been a member of the Audacity team since its infancy. He has considerable experience managing and executing a wide array of market research projects including brand equity studies, brand tracking, and product/service naming research. He has worked with brands including Quest Diagnostics, Medtronic, Illumina, Sigma Aldrich, Luminex, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and 23andMe. In his spare time, he enjoys a good fantasy novel and blogging about films (the good, the bad, and the travesties).
Jessica earned her doctorate in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology and spent 4 years doing industry diagnostic assay development while acting as a technical liaison to commercial teams at multiple biotechnology companies. Jessica recently transitioned to Audacity where she leverages her technical background and knowledge of the field to guide branding for life science and biotechnology companies as a science and brand strategist. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys hiking around sunny San Diego and singing crowd favorites at karaoke.
After seven years in Hollywood chasing an acting career, William decided to forgo the spotlight and focus on writing. He returned to the Midwest where he attended Chicago Portfolio School, taught creative writing and somehow avoided frostbite. He spent the next decade at some of the biggest agencies in advertising – Publicis, Ogilvy and Leo Burnett to name a few. He’s worked on everything from higher education to high-proof bourbon to temporary medical tattoos for high-risk pregnancy patients. And whether he’s creating an industry changing campaign or crafting a simple sentence, William is driven by authenticity - with humanity at the helm.
Anna has more than 13 years of marketing and advertising experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. She is originally from the East Coast where she managed US and Global launches for myriad therapeutic areas at Forest Laboratories and Bristol-Myers Squibb. She also led accounts at global advertising agencies including FCB New York and Rosetta Marketing. Anna now brings her integrated account management perspective to the West Coast. She uses her unique experience on both the agency and client sides to develop and execute advertising programs that are tailored to her client's unique needs. Outside of work, Anna is a big foodie who loves to travel and is always taking hiking recommendations.
Cindy conducts research that informs business decisions and brand strategy. Using data from both primary and secondary sources, she provides insights that guide initial strategy as well as insights that validate creative and strategic output. She has worked on marketing research projects for life science clients including Beckman Coulter, Luminex, Medtronic, Foundation Medicine, and Quest Diagnostics. Prior to joining Audacity, Cindy worked as a research assistant at the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics and interned with the New-York Historical Society’s Communications Department. She graduated from Harvard University in 2014 with a BA in Social Studies and a minor in Global Health and Health Policy.
Kristen earned a master of business administration from the University of San Diego and specializes in strategic branding and management. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential. Prior to working for Audacity, Kristen was the marketing director for seven years at an international project management training company where she managed a highly complex integrated multimedia marketing approach with both strategic direction and tactical implementation. Kristen has significant experience in marketing, project management, and finance. She is originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, where she was born on a very cold day in January (-50° F) along with her twin brother.
Monica helps lead the creative team at Audacity in developing marketing campaigns, brand refreshes, and conceptual ideations. In her previous corporate designer life, she followed the brand guidelines to a T for clients including Healthyroads, ADP, and Nordstrom. She does a little bit of everything including concepting, designing, photographing, image retouching, developing brand voices, sourcing materials, planning out showroom spaces, physically making hard-bound books, gluing things, cutting things, planning budgets, etc. Suffice it to say, whatever needs to get done, she’ll figure out how to do it. Monica loves listening to Johnnyswim, and she is slightly obsessed with Adele. When she is not working, you can find Monica running outdoors, practicing yoga, hand-lettering on napkins, or eating pizza. Because let's be honest, pizza is life.
Ericka is responsible for ensuring a smooth and positive project experience for our valued clients. She takes ownership from the start and partners with her clients as the sole communicator, planner, and project manager between teams while seeing projects through to fruition. Prior to joining Audacity, Ericka was an Account Manager for the global marketing agency, Amobee, managing a top performing portfolio of industry leaders including eHarmony, Nestle, and Uber. She has developed, conceptualized, and executed comprehensive omni-channel marketing initiatives while fostering strong client relationships. She brings her well-rounded marketing experience, go-getter attitude, and passion for helping others to the Audacity team. When not at work, Ericka loves being active outdoors, traveling to new places, and of course eating great food along the way.
Britney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Photography. She’s currently working on a Master's of Science in Marketing with a focus in Market Research and Analytics. Prior to joining Audacity, Britney worked as a Marketing Specialist at a biotech lab in San Diego. She served for seven years in the United States Navy active duty and as a reservist. Britney’s first duty station was in Norfolk, Virginia aboard the USS Kearsarge LHD3, deployed supporting operations in Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Dubai, and Djibouti. She then served at the Naval Air Station in Coronado, California with Squadron CRS1-A as a Mass Communications Specialist. She’s a Dallas, Texas native.
Jyotsna brings several years of experience from leading companies in the life science and pharmaceutical industry to the Audacity team. She has worked in a variety of roles, including R&D, customer experience, and marketing efforts. Jyotsna received her PhD in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, followed by further research experience at Eli Lilly and Company. Prior to joining Audacity, Jyotsna was managing global market development for molecular products at Thermo Fisher Scientific, building multi-brand strategy, and creating omni-channel marketing campaigns for product launch and promotion. She is passionate about building strong brands for advancing human health.
Taichi is in charge of creating and producing high-impact graphics for a variety of touchpoints including web, sales material, presentations, advertising, direct mail, corporate identity, standards manuals, and illustrations. Originally from Nagoya, Japan, he has been living in the United States since 2000. He graduated from San Diego State University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design.
Halle holds a bachelor's degree in advertising/public relations and is fulfilling her dreams of working at an agency. She assists the Audacity account team on all day-to-day tasks, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Halle is a California native but spent ten years of her life in the Midwest. Before joining Audacity, she helped to grow a tech software startup in San Diego. In her spare time, you can find Halle attending barre or spin classes, brunching with friends, or trying to break her personal 47-second record for completing a New York Times mini crossword puzzle.
Morgan is a healthcare marketing strategy professional with more than 14 years of experience. He’s worked in a variety of settings including boutique healthcare consulting, agency digital marketing, consumer electronics brand marketing, and tech startup venture-backed marketing. In his previous roles, Morgan developed marketing and commercialization strategies to help clients, such as Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Daiichi-Sankyo, and Siteman Cancer Center, maximize value from their brands and products. At Audacity, Morgan provides close partnership with clients, alignment of stakeholders, and development and execution of strategies that drive business growth. Morgan holds an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and a BA from the University of Chicago.
Sara holds a PhD in cancer genetics from the University of California, San Diego. Before joining Audacity, Sara was a Life Sciences strategy consultant at Charles River Associates, a large global consultancy where she specialized in commercial strategy for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Her expertise includes market research, market access, analytics and competitive intelligence. Outside of work, Sara loves to spend time in the mountains where she can be found chasing down trails, climbing routes, alpine lakes and hot springs.
Laila has been honing her artistic skills since childhood. She refined her craft at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Laila’s background includes a full range of designing, marketing, and branding for a diverse list of companies. She created licensed costume designs for international distribution for Marvel, DC Comics, Lucasfilm Ltd, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Tokidoki, and more. She created full activewear collections and branding strategies for LeeMarc Industries, and textile design at Garreau Designs Studio for high-end labels. One of her designs graced the runway for Gottex Swim at Gran Canaria Swimwear Fashion Week in 2016. Laila’s thought process, aesthetics, illustration, and technical skills have easily translated into the life science and health industries, and she is excited to be working in a more fulfilling field. She brings to the team out-of-the-box thinking and dedicated care with every project.
Sara is a knowledgeable advertising specialist in the areas of media strategy, execution and client management. Prior to joining Audacity, Sara drove effective media results at renowned advertising agencies including Havas and Hill Holliday. Her previous client experience consists of industry leaders and disruptors from McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts, to Planet Fitness and Emirates. Sara uses her expertise to optimize media implementation and ensure a seamless experience for her clients while activating their brand strategy goals. In her free time, you can catch her at a spin class or soaking up the sun along the shores of Windansea Beach.
Miles is a cockapoo (cocker spaniel + poodle mix) who enjoys socializing with clients and lounging in the office. He received his informal education from Collins University with a double major in fuzzy companionship and cuddling. He serves as our alert system for every delivery or person that enters the office.
