The ideal candidate will have an alchemy of digital and print experience and be driven by the creative process and frequent collaboration.
As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for delivering beautiful design work in the form of both detailed, user-oriented websites and digital campaign experiences. In addition, you will be asked to support branding campaigns and marketing materials including logos, creative concepts, brand guides, and other collateral. This position will report to the Senior UX/UI Designer. This role will have an equal weight of UX/UI and branding opportunities with significant room for growth.
Duties and responsibilities:
Design for world-renowned health and science clients
Conceptualize, wireframe, and design high-quality digital interfaces across all viewports
Utilize critical thinking skills in both visual and human interaction design to produce user-centric digital solutions in the form of websites, applications, or other software
Collaborate with strategists to understand client’s business goals and objectives to create aesthetically pleasing visual solutions
Lead and assist design for branding campaigns and initiatives by creating collateral for both print and digital needs such as logos, brochures, flyers, style guides, and more
Design digital media collateral in the forms of ads, banners, and social assets
Plan and implement digital designs, considering technical/animated nuances, and adequate production for development handoff
Create interactive prototypes for websites on Figma
Creatively utilize existing branding for Fortune 500 companies
Thoroughly and confidently present concepts and justify design decisions directly to stakeholders
Plan and execute all aspects of creative deliverables for digital projects from start to finish
Work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, creatives, and strategists to deliver winning creative solutions
3-5 years of experience as a graphic, visual, or UI/UX designer or similar role
Strong design portfolio showcasing UI and digital design (bonus for print-based design examples as well)
Excellent communication (both verbal and written)
Enthusiastic problem solving, thinking, and analyzing
Thrives in a fast-paced, high freedom environment with multiple projects at once
Superb ability to discuss, explain, and present design solutions to key stakeholders
Experience with a highly collaborative and cross-functional team
Full proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
5 years of experience designing digital experiences (websites, applications, software, etc)
Strong interest in user experience and a desire to grow in that field
Experience with Figma (or other UI design and prototyping tools)
Ability to work directly with developers to ensure feasibility and adherence to necessary features, functions, and technical requirements
Knowledge of ADA compliance standards
Experience in the science/healthcare field a strong plus
