Market Research Manager

Audacity is looking to expand our Market Research team with a driven, analytical team member who’s not afraid to get into the weeds of data analysis and elevate learnings into clear, actionable insights that guide strategic and creative decisions. This position will be responsible for executing market research projects – from design, through analysis and presentation of results – at the high standard our healthcare and life sciences clients expect from our team. The job requires an organized, detail-oriented individual who can successfully manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Role + Responsibilities

  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative market research plans that align with client’s strategic objectives, project goals, and budget
  • Develop, program, and test survey questionnaires using online platform to ensure overall survey quality
  • Create discussion guides and moderate one-on-one or group interviews with client stakeholders and target customers
  • Provide regular communications on project progress across teams (internal, with client, and with external vendors)
  • Proactively anticipate, troubleshoot, overcome, and/or escalate project challenges in a timely manner
  • Analyze and summarize research findings in a simplified, informative style
  • Present output of market research to internal and client stakeholders
  • ·Identify external vendors well-suited to support for research effort based on target audience needs and scale
  • Manage and maintain strong working relationship with external vendors throughout project lifecycle
  • Helps advance internal team’s overall research capabilities by investigating new methodologies, approaches, or tools/solutions
  • Review project post-mortem results for internal team to help guide business development efforts

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, computer science, data science, economics, analytics or other related analytical discipline
  • Previous market research experience or certifications is strongly desired
  • Strong interview moderation skills
  • Strong experience in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous mindset; no “t” left uncrossed and no “i” left undotted
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and make progress on multiple concurrent projects as well as share progress with your team
  • Self-starter who brings drive and energy to their work
  • Critical thinker that considers all the information available before making judgements and adapts accordingly
  • Quick, independent learner
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Prior exposure to healthcare and life sciences industries is a plus
