2025 Letter from DEI Committee Leaders

Happy New Year!

We hope you are having a great start to 2025 with great goals. We, as leaders of the DEI Committee at Audacity Health, would like to address an important topic that has recently gained attention: the trend of organizations scaling back or reevaluating their DEI initiatives.

Audacity has no intention to reduce our engagement with DEI efforts. We want to reaffirm our unwavering commitment and explain why this work remains important to us, the committee members, and Audacity Health.

At our core, we believe that fostering a diverse and inclusive environment is not just the right thing to do – it is essential to our growth and success. Our diverse teams bring varied perspectives, ideas, and experiences that drive creativity, problem solving, and innovation in everything we do. A workspace that is inclusive and creates a sense of belonging ensures that every individual team member can contribute their best work. For us, DEI is not and never will be a trend.

We understand that maintaining meaningful DEI requires effort and accountability. Over the past two years we have made great progress in:

  • Defining our DEI mission statement that can be found on here.

  • Developing employee resources that support an inclusive environment for topics such as pronouns, neurodivergency, and more.

  • Providing recommendations that feature voices of marginalized communities in our Periodic Tables and Book Club.

We are proud of these achievements and recognize that our work is far from over; however, Audacity will continue to be a place where we all belong.
